To coincide with their Australian tour kicking off, Tim & Eric have confirmed their new TV series Beef House will premiere later this year.

The US comedy duo teased the show late last year during an interview with The Music, with Eric Wareheim saying Beef House has “the same kind of energy” as their Mandatory Attendance live show which started in Sydney last night.

“It's a new Tim & Eric show,” Wareheim said.

“It's a new format that we've never done – like it's not sketch comedy. And there's a lot of characters that you might know from the Tim & Eric universe. We're just cutting it right now, we're so happy with it.

"It's really, really funny.”

As Deadline reports, Beef House, which will premiere on Adult Swim, follows "five men – Tim Heidecker, Eric Wareheim, Ron Auster, Ben Hur, Tennessee Luke – and Eric’s wife Megan, all living under one roof. Each week Tim, a laid-back rock-and-roll slacker, and his best friend Eric, a high-strung stay-at-home husband, find themselves 'in the middle of a madcap misadventure that can only be traversed with the help of their fellow Beef Boys.'"
