MUSIC
Arkansas doom metal four piece Pallbearer have today released details of their first-ever Australian tour after it was announced on Friday that they would be appearing at Hobart's Dark Mofo festival in June.
Pallbearer have burst from the underground over the past few years, garnering critical acclaim along the way. They've become known for their epic 10-minute songs which journey through the melodramatic guitar sounds of classic doom metal, whilst eschewing the dirty vocals usually found in that realm of music, instead opting for crystal clear, soaring vocal arrangements.
Pallbearer also recently released their first-ever music video, Watcher In The Dark - no small feat when your songs rarely sit under the 8-minute mark. It's a tidy little window into the kind of vibe you'll be experiencing when you check them out as they head around the country this June.
