Rock Or Bust Australian tour
AC/DC have finally announced the much anticipated Australian leg of their worldwide Rock Or Bust album tour. The rock legends will return to home turf this November and December for a series of outdoor stadium shows.
The Rock Or Bust Australian tour marks AC/DC's return to the Australian tour circuit in five years, following 2010's Black Ice tour. It will kick off in Sydney before moving through Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and finally Melbourne.
The tour will see AC/DC's former drummer Chris Slade, who was a part of the band's lineup on The Razor's Edge album tour as well as the 1993 single Big Gun, return to his position behind the kit. After reuniting with the band for their Grammy Awards performance this year, it was confirmed recently that Slade will be taking Phil Rudd's place on AC/DC's world tour.
The tour is named after AC/DC's latest album Rock Or Bust – their first album without founding guitarist Malcolm Young, whose retirement from the band was announced last year with the news that he is suffering from dementia. His nephew Stevie Young took up rhythm guitar duties on the album and will tour with the band when they return to Australia.
Before they head back Down Under, AC/DCare set to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this weekend before they head out on a European and North American tour in support of Rock Or Bust.
Australian tour tickets are priced at $99.00 + bf and $159.00 + bf and go on sale on Monday, 20th April. Details below.
