JOSH PYKE
THE LAST OF THE LONE WOLF TOUR
JOSH PYKE recently announced the third and final leg of his national Lone Wolf solo tour, adding shows this November/December in Castlemaine, Ballarat, Geelong, Warrnambool, Newcastle, Goulburn, Thirroul, Kincumber and Katoomba. Newcastle has already SOLD OUT and a second date is now on sale at Lizottes on Wednesday 26 November.

Melbourne-via-Warrnambool singer/songwriter and regular Josh Pyke tour partner, Jackson McLaren will open for the Victorian leg of the tour. Jackson McLaren & his band The Triple Threat have been riding the success of their debut full-length Songs To Greet The Dawn, which was released last May. Produced by John Castle (Josh Pyke, Washington, Gossling) the album maps the development of one of Australia's most exciting young songwriters.

For the NSW leg, Sydney-based Jordan Leser will join the tour, who's songs are arrows aimed straight to the heart. Her sense of place is evocative, her gift for melody arresting and her compositions reminiscent of her heroines - Kate Bush and Loreena McKennitt. Jordan's shows are known for their intimate, spellbinding quality - fusing haunting vocals, exquisite musicianship and unforgettable choruses. Leser's debut single 'Brother Moon' premiered across the country on triple j with a video clip by award winning director Adam Callan (Thundamentals / Birds of Tokyo / Grinspoon).

The Lone Wolf tour has been a year-long pilgrimage for Pyke, selling out capital city theatres in February and March, followed by an extension on demand to another 12 towns and regional centres mid-way through the year. Somewhere in between, Pyke has managed to circle the country with the The Beatles White Album Concert and find time to campaign and perform via his project Busking For Change to collect desperately needed funds for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Pyke has exceeded his goal of raising $50,000 for ILF through Busking for Change events over the past five-years.

Pyke's career has taken him around the world and over the course of a 10 year career, he still climbs, releasing the ARIA-nominated and album, The Beginning And The End of Everything last year, featuring the lead single 'Leeward Side'

These shows will be the very last chance to see Josh Pyke's carefully curated Lone Wolf solo set, and the last shows as part of The Beginning And The End Of Everything album touring. On sale now.
