BUSBY MAROU are quickly gaining the reputation as one of the hardest working live bands in Australia. They spent the back end of 2011 touring with the likes of Dolly Parton, KD Lang and Pete Murray as well as some hugely successful headline shows across the Nation.
BUSBY MAROU scored high rotation slots from Triple J and NOVA and their debut self-titled album reached #24 on the ARIA album charts and #5 on the Australian artist charts. The boys are also making their presence felt with strong showings in the nominations at the AIR, Deadly and Queensland Music Awards. Their recent TV performance of "Underlying Message" on Rockwiz including Jeremy's ukelele shredfest has certainly sent tongues wagging.
The BUSBY MAROU version of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" is a stand out track on the high profile Triple J "Like A Version" compilation. That, along with their version of "Dressing Up" making the cut on the "Re-wiggled" Wiggles Tribute album adds another string to Busby's musical bow.
BUSBY MAROU are stoked that GEORGIA FAIR accepted their invitation to join them on their tour of the Coast. This summer you can add some great live music to your schedule of fun in the sun.
