FUCK THE REAPER TOUR The Amity Affliction return to the stage this October on the Fuck The Reaper Tour, with the UK’s Asking Alexandria and the Gold Coast’s Skyway on board for all dates. The tour will celebrate the release of the Deluxe Edition of The Amity Affliction's hit 2010 release Youngbloods. The new edition includes a DVD feature edited by vocalist Joel Birch, as well as bonus tracks, film clips, liner notes and extended art within the package. It will see a release via UNFD on September 30. The Fuck The Reaper Tour is Asking Alexandria's first Australian tour since their muchtouted sophomore album Reckless and Relentless (Sumerian/Shock) hit shelves in April 2011. The release was heralded by worldwide press as destined to become one of the year's most ground-breaking offerings and it has not fallen short of that mark. The band's growth and maturity since their debut effort Stand Up and Scream has been astonishing but all that have had the fortune to see Asking Alexandria live will testify the live arena is where the band excels most. Their overly energetic performance and “rock star” look is nothing short of captivating. The British quintet consistently delivers an unfaltering frenzy of unabashed aggression and intensity that will quickly hook you in and never let up. Get on board. Since their inception in early 2008 Gold Coast pop punks Skyway have fast forged an impressive name for themselves. In 2010 alone they released 2 EPs, racked up 90+ shows, toured Japan and shared the stage with reputed acts Parkway Drive, A Day To Remember, Frenzal Rhomb and Underoath, to name but a few. Not bad for a year's work. Skyway's debut full length Finders Keepers is due for release August 12 on Takedown Records. The last time The Amity Affliction hit the road they played to record numbers on the overwhelmingly successful Destroy Music tour. It wrapped up in their hometown of Brisbane, with Amity playing to 4000 of their biggest fans. You know tickets to the Fuck The Reaper Tour will sell quickly – get in quick to avoid disappointment.
