Los Angeles based indie rock quintet The Airborne Toxic Event are touring Australia for the first time this September. Armed with their lush blend of stirring pop melodies, The Airborne Toxic Event have developed somewhat of a cult following across the US, UK and Europe with their electrifying and cathartic live shows.
Having supporting rock n roll heavyweights such as Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Fratellis and Silversun Pickups, The Airborne Toxic Event are keeping good company. A slew of appearances on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno have solidified the band’s reputation as a band to watch.
Supporting The Airborne Toxic Event nationally will be Central Coast four piece Slow Down Honey who come armed with their catchy pop hooks and bittersweet harmonies. 2009 has been a big year for Slow Down Honey – their debut EP In The Picture was released in June and their current single On Your Records is out now through Island Records. Kicking off proceedings in Melbourne and Sydney will be eccentric, warped pop loving twins Young Heretics. Their dual vocal attack will be the perfect starter to the night! Brisbane openers will be a special act hand picked straight from the Big Sound line up.
Don't miss your chance to see what the world is talking about when The Airborne Toxic Event set the stage alight this September! |
