Rai Thistlethwayte is mostly known as the front man of rock band Thirsty Merc. This May / June, he shares brand new songs for an upcoming solo album. Unknown to many, Rai is also a respected jazz piano player, in-demand session musician and prolific songwriter. Rai has written a swag of new songs that he'll perform for the first time and with a very new sound. More groove than straight rock….and certainly with a few moments of good old soul-bearing songwriting from the guy who wrote 2008 Song Of The Year nomination '20 Good Reasons'.
