One of Australia's most accomplished acts, Eskimo Joe have been busy working on their new album 'Inshalla' and we are excited to announce that they are currently putting dates together for an Australian tour later in 2009. However - the band have confirmed an appearance as headliners on the Ripe Noosa music festival on Sunday 3rd May. This one day music festival will hatch the hottest line up of acts the Sunshine Coast has seen with headliners ESKIMO JOE (no doubt featuring new tracks from their much anticipated new release along with all the favs) joined by FAKER – THE POTBELLEEZ – BLISS N ESO – BLUE KING BROWN – THE DRONES – PEZ – DEAD LETTER CIRCUS, THE STAFFORD BROTHERS, BASS KLEPH and THE ASTON SHUFFLE plus some of the countries largest DJ acts raising the roof off the HARVEST DANCE STAGE Here's the latest from Eskimo Joe themselves: "We filmed a new clip for our upcoming single 'Foreign Land' this week. It's full of mystery, intrigue and dervishes. The wonderful crew at Cyclops Films are editing, tweaking and adding final touches. It'll be ready very soon. The first single from the new album is 'Foreign Land' and it is available on April 6th in Australia. This song has one of the rock-iest sections we've written and it's quickly become a favourite to play live. We've also incorporated some eastern strains and other crazy instrumentation on this song and throughout the new album, 'Inhsalla'. A rare thing these days, a physical single! Yes, there will be an Australian exclusive physical three-track single of 'Foreign Land' released and you can pre-order you copy from JB HiFi Our website is getting a new look soon. It's a few weeks away but nevertheless, change is a comin'. But...our MySpace has be beautifully redesigned and lookin' rather schnazzy. Check it out www.myspace.com/eskimojoemusic."
