ON TOUR IN NOVEMBER

Class favourites Augie March have spent the last 18months writing and recording their new album, touring North America, supporting Crowded House and playing the odd festival and show.

That’s one mighty fine list they’ve managed to compile since taking out the prestigious honour of the number 1 spot in the 14th Annual Triple J Hottest 100 in 2007. There is however one box that remains not checked and that is a proper headline tour in Australia... much to the joy of all fans we are happy to report that you can all get out your fattest black pen and give the big tick of approval because Augie March are back on the road this November....

The Watch Me Disappear Tour hits cities for a series of shows that will feature material from that so-named forthcoming album, Watch Me Disappear. In the words of singer-songwriter Glenn Richards, it’s the best bunch of songs to date, which is saying something. The shows will also feature material from the band’s impressive decade-plus-deep catalogue.

Fabulously gifted and charming Melbourne raconteur Dan Kelly will join the Augies on the road with current outfit The Ukeladies. Get there early for a very entertaining night.
Watch Me Disappear, the album, is out in Australia on October 11th 2008.

Come join this band of Troubadours and friends for a thoroughly enjoyable evening of sweet nothings and somethings...
