Aussie DJ and radio personality KLP and revered music publicist Anna Fitzgerald launched their mixed netball competition Ricochet BALL last year and now the pair have revealed the competition has raised over $50,000.

This year's netball competition took place on Friday last week, with 12 teams competing and raising over $27,000 for selected charities.

The iHeartRadio Wreckers took out this year's championship, which saw them donate over $7,000 to their charity Beyond Blue.

"We are so proud of all the teams who competed in Ricochet BALL, and more importantly how much money was raised for charity! It's not often enough that the music and media industries get together in a healthy environment and get to be active and play sport," said KLP and Fitzgerald.

"We put a lot of work into getting Ricochet BALL going and to raise over to $50,000 for charity in two years is just amazing.

"We want to thank all the players, volunteers and sponsors for getting on board. Bring on next year!"
