After ten years at the Sydney College of the Arts and Callan Park, Laneway Festival has announced it is moving its Sydney event to a brand new location.

In a statement today, festival promoters confirmed the Sydney leg will move to The Domain in Sydney's CBD.

"We've had 10 amazing years at the Sydney College of the Arts and Callan Park and we'll forever be grateful for the support of the local community who gave the festival a Sydney home," the statement reads.

"We decided that it was time to move back into the city so we could present the show with the best possible staging, sound and overall accessibility both in and around the event.

"We have plans to create a unique offering in The Domain that hasn’t been seen before. We can't wait to present Laneway in this stunning world-class location."

More details about the 2020 Laneway Festival are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

This year's festival featured live sets from Gang Of Youths, Courtney Barnett, Denzel Curry, Middle Kids and Camp Cope; check out the full review here.
