Aussie heavyweights Northlane have blitzed the US charts this week with their new album, Alien.

After debuting on the ARIA Albums chart at #3 last week, the Sydney metalcore outfit's fifth record has cracked five Billboard charts, including #6 on the Heatseekers Albums list.

Alien has also debuted at #8 on the Hard Rock Album Sales chart, #15 on the Independent Albums chart, #24 on the Rock Album Sales chart and #92 on the Top Album Sales chart.

The placings have also helped Northlane enter the Emerging Artists chart at #48, joining a number of big acts like Mabel, Noah Cyrus and Denzel Curry.

Northlane frontman Marcus Bridge sat down with The Music recently to discuss the new record; read the full interview here.

The band will embark on a headline tour of Australia in support of Alien this October. Head over to theGuide for more details.
