Concerns about punters' safety have flooded social media following Billie Eilish's show at Brisbane's Riverstage last night.

Promoters and police were forced to come on stage following the support act FINNEAS to inform the all-ages crowd if they did not take a step back from the barrier, the show would not go ahead.

The Music's reviewer Carley Hall, who attended the show, said it was "hard to watch" and that there was "an awful lot of pushing and shoving" going on. She witnessed a crowd member being stretchered out by a paramedic.

The show was able to proceed but a number of attendees have taken to the Facebook event page to share their experience.

"I was in the second 'row' of the mosh pit and was being pushed, shoved, had my hair pulled, elbowed in the ribs and could barely breath [sic] as my chest was being crushed," one post reads.

"After being pulled out we were shown the way out and we [were] shoved off without any concern. Nobody asked us if we needed first aid or any medical help," it continues.

"I went there to have the best night of my life, I waited 3 years for it, but instead I was left feeling on edge and panicky the rest of the night. I think something needs to change for next time and never let this happen again."

The Music has contacted show promoter Chugg Entertainment for comment.
