Sydney

KIIS1065's Kyle & Jackie O continue the year in the #1 spot for the Sydney FM breakfast ratings, jumping up to a total 11.4% market share. SmoothFM hold top spot overall (9.5%) and trail Kyle & Jackie O in breakfast with 8% (down 0.5% from March). WSFM's Jonesy & Amanda breakfast show is hot on their tails with a total of 7.9% (also down 0.3% from March).

Triple J has dropped overall again in the Sydney ratings, down from 5.4% to 4.6% since March, with its breakfast program down 0.8% to 4.4%, but its drive program jumping 0.2% to 6%.

Melbourne

Smooth 91.5 is back in the lead of Melbourne's FM stations after Fox 101.9 FM shook things up last survey. Fox dropped 0.8% to score 9.6% of the market share, coming in third, while Smooth climbed 1.3% to finish with 11%. Gold 104.3 FM overtook Fox to score 10.1% and finish in second place.

Triple J has decreased its share in Melbourne to 5.1%, down 1.2% from March, but remains steady in the breakfast share (5.6%) and is up 0.1% in the drive segment.

Brisbane

The second ratings of 2019 see Brisbane's Nova 106.9 holding overall share at 12.4% (down 0.5%) with Triple M trailing in second at 11.9%. Triple M is followed closely by HIT 105 who jumped 1.6% to claim 11.8% of the share.

Triple J is down 1% overall to pull 6.8% of the market, with its breakfast program dropping 0.5% to 6.9% and drive dropping from 8.2% to 7.8%.

Adelaide

Mix 102.3 remains the SA capital's #1 FM station increasing its share to a massive 13.9%, while second placed Nova 91.9 sees a drop of 0.9% to claim 10.3% of the market.

Triple J picks up its only overall gain in Adelaide, increasing its share by 0.3% to 7.1%. The growth is across a number of programs, including a 0.6% jump at breakfast (6.7% share), 1% for mornings (7.2% share), 0.7% for afternoons (8.1% share) and 0.8% for evenings (5.6%).

Perth

Mix 94.5 also remains Perth's #1 FM station despite decreasing 0.2% (15.4% market share). Nova 93.7 claimed second place with 12.1% of the share (down 0.1% from March) but climbed 0.3% in the breakfast slot to gain a 13.6% share. Triple J dropped 0.4% to claim 10.4% of the market, down in all sessions bar breakfast and afternoons where it climbed 0.5% and 0.1% respectively.
