Following on from a huge announcement of the 2019 finalists, the Queensland Music Awards is now giving the power to the people as voting opens for the People's Choice Awards.

Presented by Jack Daniel's and powered by The Music, the QMA People's Choice Awards allow music lovers to have their say and vote for their favourite metro and regional venues along with their favourite festival. All entries also go into the draw to win a double pass to BIGSOUND 2019. Voting is open right now and closes midnight 28 February so what are you waiting for

This year's awards will be held at the Royal International Convention Centre at Brisbane Showgrounds on 19 March, and will be hosted by The Grates' Patience Hodgson and comedian Mel Buttle, and will have performances from Amy Shark, DZ Deathrays, Clea, Emma Beau, Tokyo Twilight and more. The announcement also comes with the reveal of the 2019 Album Of The Year finalists which sees Amy Shark, Ball Park Music, Emily Wurramara, The Goon Sax and Tia Gostelow all in the running for the coveted award. This pushes Wurramara into the lead with an impressive five nominations to her name with Gostelow and Shark both up to three nominations each.
