Just like that, we're only a few days out from Christmas. Maybe you've been counting down the days with your annual advent calendar (booze or chocolate, we're not here to judge) or maybe you're like us and are now reduced to a state of panic about the lack of presents you've bought... Whatever the reason, here's some tunes to get you into the season.
War Is Over - Miley Cyrus, Mark Ronson & Sean Ono Lennon
It's pretty brave to cover a Beatle but if you're going to do it having their kid on the track is probably all the approval you need. Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson's cover of the John Lennon track War Is Over where they're joined by none other than Sean Ono Lennon. Miley's got the chops and overall it's a pretty respectful version of the classic.
Dasher - Gerard Way
If you, like us, are desperate for My Chemical Romance to reform, take this as at least a little Christmas miracle that frontman Gerard Way is still making music with his reindeer inspired track, Dasher.
My Old Santa Claus - Sia
Sia's album Everyday Is Christmas dropped last year, filled with all things Christmas, including this jazzy little number, My Old Santa Claus.
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - John Legend feat. Esperanza Spalding
Alright, to be honest, all of me loves all of this cover of the Christmas classic from John Legend and Esperanza Spalding. The video is pretty joyous too.
Santa's Comin' Down The Chimney - Confidence Man
Look, it's not often you get to say this but this is a hot, hot Christmas banger. Confidence Man want that beat for Christmas and after to listening this, we think we do too.
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas - The Beths
The song so nice we included it twice. New Zealand indie group The Beths have taken a different spin on this classic, and the video is a doozy too, proving once again that we're really not worthy of dogs.
