After placing at #3 last week,  Michael Bublé's Christmas record realistically has only one week left to take out top spot on the ARIA Albums chart and keep his historic run intact.

The 2011 LP has returned to #1 every year in December since its release; an achievement no other album has achieved as many times in the ARIA era (1983-present).

According to midweek figures, the album will again push for a top three placing but is no certainty to return to the coveted #1 position.

Christmas is again expected to fight out for top spot against the A Star Is Born  soundtrack (pushing for nine straight weeks atop the chart) and the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack.

Bublé recently appeared on The Graham Norton Show to discuss the feat; check it out below.

Other debuts on the chart this week includes Bruce Springsteen's Springsteen On Broadway (top five), the Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse soundtrack (top 30) and Zayn's Icarus Falls (top 50).

Over on the Singles chart, Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next should have no problem maintaining top spot for a sixth-straight week, with the only debuts being other Grande tracks, Imagine (top 20) and Santa Tell Me (top 50), and Khalid's Saturday Nights (top 50).

You can expect to see a few holiday favourites climb up the chart though, including Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas (top ten), Wham's Last Christmas (top 20) and the iconic anthem, Do They Know It's Christmas (top 40).
