Some of Australia's biggest names in rock have been added to the Birdsville Big Red Bash 2019 line-up.
Joining already-announced headliners Midnight Oil, The Living End and Kasey Chambers for "the world's most remote music festival" in Queensland's Simpson Desert from 16-18 July includes Steve Kilbey, Chocolate Starfish, Busby Marou, 1927, Wendy Matthews, Mark Williams (Dragon) and Steve Balbi (Noiseworks).
Festival director Greg Donovan says the event is not just a music festival, but also an incredible destination for tourists and explorers.
“The journey alone adds to the experience as campers, 4-wheel drivers, caravaners, travel enthusiasts and music lovers travel from across Australia and the world gather at the iconic Bashville pop-up festival site 35km west of Birdsville," Donovan said.
