Revered Aussie electro-pop lords PNAU are taking fans behind the scenes of their 2018 Changa tour via short film Luminous.

The new doco follows Nick Littlemore, Peter Mayes and Sam Littlemore, as well as vocalist Kira Divine and drummer Tim Commandeur, around the country during the album tour and also includes footage from Splendour In The Grass back in July.

Luminous includes performances of Wild Strawberries, Chameleon, Go Bang and more.

“You look out there and you see a sea of people, none of which I’ve ever met, none of which I’ll ever know, I won’t fall in love with any of them, they won’t break my heart,” Littlemore said backstage at Splendour.

“Next year they’ll all be replaced by another group of people – yes, some of them will be older and they’ll be here next year, but the point is, it’s all kind of meaningless unless you can leave some kind of lasting legacy, some kind of love, some kind of mystery that people are still going to be interested in trying to learn about, trying to grasp a hold of, what the fuck are we doing? What is the point of any of it?”

After picking up Best Dance Release at the 2018 ARIAs, PNAU are preparing for an epic summer festival season, which will include sets at Lost Paradise, Origin, Beyond The Valley and more.

Today’s surprise announcement comes as the trio sign on to perform at the 2019 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras party next March.
