Jen Cloher, Ngaiire, All Our Exes Live In Texas & More Appointed As APRA AMCOS Ambassadors

APRA AMCOS have today announced the appointment of its new ambassadors to their program.

The organisation has added 13 female ambassadors to its program, taking the ambassador roster up to 147 songwriters, composers and industry stakeholders.

APRA AMCOS has shared that the appointments are part of a "dedicated focus in 2018 to invite more women from different backgrounds, geographic regions, professions, and musical genres to be ambassadors."

Artists Jen Cloher, Ngaiire, All Our Exes Live In Texas (Georgia Mooney, Hannah Crofts, Elana Stone, Katie Wighton), Alex Hosking, Ainslie Wills, Justine Clarke, Anna Laverty, Wafia, Juanita Stein and Vassy have been appointed to the ambassador program, joining the likes of Jack River, Ian Moss and more.

"While APRA AMCOS represents our 100,000 members in myriad ways, the most eloquent and affecting spokespersons are our members themselves, which is why our Ambassador program is so vital to what we do," said APRA AMCOS Director of Member Relations Milly Petriella.

“I'm so pleased to appoint these talented and influential women to be Ambassadors and I look forward to their deeper involvement in supporting the rights of music creators globally."
