Dan Sultan has today announced he'll be hitting the road in 2019 for a massive regional tour.
In addition to the tour announce, Sultan has also shared that he'll be releasing new music in the early part of next year.
Dubbed Aviary Takes, the album will be back up of a collection of exisiting back catalogue tracks, as well as a few new tracks and covers to be recorded at Melbourne's The Aviary Studios.
Sultan will kick off the tour in Hobart on 24 February, before visiting Gold Coast, Wagga Wagga, Bowral, Bendigo, Belgrave, Bayswater, Port Hedland, Karratha, Margaret River, Fremantle, Geraldton, Karijini Reserve, Redland, Noosa, Gosford, Newcastle and Port Macquarie.
"I'm really looking forward to hitting the regional road with The Aviary Takes tour," says Sultan.
"It'll be good to make up for the shows I had to cancel earlier this year. The Aviary Takes are a group of songs I recorded recently and they include old, current, new tracks with a couple of surprise covers thrown in. It’ll be great to see all of your lovely faces at the shows."
