After a scorching debut earlier this year, WA-based mini-festival Slayfest will return in 2019, today announcing that Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals and King Parrot will bring their Thrash Blast Grind Australian tour to Perth for the event.

Set across three stages at Amplifier and Capitol, the March 23 event will feature 15 bands, with former Pantera legend Anselmo heading Down Under for the first time in over five years, showcasing cuts from his latest solo album, Choosing Mental Illness As A Virtue, and more.

“I’m looking forward to getting back over to Australia and soaking up the killer vibes," Anselmo said.

“Touring with King Parrot on their turf is an honour... let the absurdities commence!”

Here’s the full 2019 line-up:

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, King Parrot, Pathogen (performing Bloodline), Black Rheno, Palm, Potion, Loose Unit, Psychonaut, Dethlahem, Beerfridge, Battle Sword Steel Master, Rat King, Bayview Suspect, Freak Vibe, Blackwitch
