Feeling a little worse this morning after the ARIAs? Yeah, we get it. Don't worry, here's our highs and lows from last night's 2018 ARIA Awards.

Courtney Barnett & Ruel's record-breaking night

Not only did Barnett and Ruel both pick an award each, they also picked up some pretty sweet record titles with Barnett becoming the first ever solo female act to win the ARIA for Best Rock Album, while Ruel became the youngest solo act to ever win an ARIA with his Breakthrough Artist honour. Barnett performed her track Charity at the awards, check it out below.

The incredible tribute to Gurrumul

Gurrumul was posthumously awarded four ARIAs for his album Djarimirri (Child Of The Rainbow), including Best Male Artist, Best Independent Release, Best World Music Album and Best Cover Art. The legendary artist was honoured with a touching tribute from Jessica Mauboy, Briggs and his daughter Jasmine Yunupingu. Watch it below.

What are 5SOS fans called? Because we might be them now...

5 Seconds Of Summer scored Best Group, Best Australian Live Act and the Apple Music Song Of The Year for Youngblood. They kicked off the show with a huge performance of the track and we'll be honest, we're pretty sure we're a part of the 5SOS Fam now.

Kasey Chambers being an all-round excellent human

As if we didn't already love Kasey Chambers enough, she surely has the heart of the entire nation with her ARIA Hall Of Fame induction performance and speech. “I still have days when I look in the mirror and say ‘Am I not pretty enough?’" said Chambers in a video package. "But now my answer is ‘Who gives a fuck?’" Kasey Chambers, you bloody legend.

Geldof v Urban

Let's just say Sir Bob Geldof's appearance at the 2018 ARIAs was a little odd... It picked up a heap of steam on Twitter with the uncomfortable exchange between Geldof and host Keith Urban. Check it out below.
