Billy Bragg's show at next weekend's Fairgrounds Festival will no doubt be one of the 2018 highlights but attendees will be gifted another treat featuring the British punk pioneer.

As well as performing at the Berry event, Bragg will take part in an 'In conversation' talk with former Deputy Prime Minister Anthony "DJ Albo" Albanese.

Bragg will discuss life and music, as well as current affairs with the Aussie politician on the Fairgrounds Talks stage from 1.30pm on Saturday.

Meanwhile, The Smith Street Band frontman Wil Wagner will salute his parents by reading children's books, Little Cat & The Big Red Bus (written by Wagner's mother) and Why I Love Summer (written by Wagner's father) at a very special event in support of Little Fairgrounds.

Fairgrounds 2018 will feature performances from the likes of Vance Joy, Courtney Barnett and The Breeders; for more details, scroll down.
