US artist and member of popular '90s group LFO, Devin Lima, has passed away at the age of 41.

According to TMZ, Lima passed on Wednesday morning following a year-long battle with cancer.

The news follows the passing of fellow band member Rich Cronin, who died in 2010 from leukemia. LFO disbanded following Cronin's death, before Lima and Brad Fischetti reunited last year.

In October last year, Lima revealed that he had been diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer.

LFO enjoyed a string of hits featured on their self-titled 1999 debut album, including Summer Girls and Girls On TV.

In July last year, the duo released the single, Perfect 10, their first new song in 15 years.
