With a population of 1.4 billion and a per capita spending on recorded music that is projected to quadruple from 2017 to 2023, breaking into the Chinese market might seem a bit daunting. Lucky for you the VMDO's China Music Now program as part of Melbourne Music Week has just added two new speakers to the line-up to help you navigate the market.
With the aim of offering invaluable insight and creating new pathways and networks in China, Matthew Daniel, Vice President - International at NetEase Cloud Music, and Ryan Wilson, Partner and Director of Listen Up Asia, will join Maybe Mars' Lolly Fan, Modern Sky's Michael Lojudice, Kanjian's Alessandro Pavanello and One Louder's Mel Chang next Monday at Melbourne Town Hall.
Net Ease Cloud Music took only two years to reach 100 million users and currently sits at over 400 million users, making it the fastest growing music service in China.
