Aussie legends Midnight Oil are gunning for an Australian #1 album this week with their live offering, but they'll have to end the reign of Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga's A Star Is Born soundtrack which is vying for a fourth straight week at #1.
According to midweek figures, Armistice Day: Live At The Domain, Sydney is predicted to debut inside the top ten of the ARIA Albums chart, alongside debuts from Imagine Dragons' Origins (top 3), Architects' Holy Hell (top 5) and Muse's Simulation Theory (top 10).
They will also be up against Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and Greatest Hits courtesy of another Hollywood flick currently in cinemas.
The last Hollywood soundtrack to stamp its mark on the ARIA Albums chart was last year's Boxing Day-released The Greatest Showman, which currently holds the record for the longest streak at #1 on the list in 2018 (eight weeks straight).
Other album debuts this week include Lil Peep's post-humous release Come Over When You're Sober Pt. 2 (top 15), Kane Brown's Experiment (top 20), Ziggy Alberts' Laps Around The Sun (top 25), Jonas Blue's Blue and Psycroptic's As The Kingdom Drowns (both top 50).
Over on the Singles chart, Imagine Dragons will be looking to continue to stamp their mark in the charts with the debut of Bad Liar (top 50).
Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody is also expected to continue its climb into the top 20, with Charli XCX and Troye Sivan's 1999 to follow suit (top 25). Check out the pair performing the track live on Fallon last night here.
