Ever wanted to shred on a guitar played by Midnight Oil? Well here's your chance because today Reverb.com has announced it has partnered with Sydney's Global Vintage Guitars to sell a whole stack of music gear from the iconic Aussie band.
Launching on 16 November, The Official Midnight Oil Reverb Shop will feature guitars, amps, studio equipment and more that was collected and used by the band over the past 40 years.
Speaking about the decision to sell, guitarist/keyboardist Jim Moginie said, “After last year’s Great Circle Tour, our gear storage locker is completely full. We want to pass these instruments on to musicians who will appreciate and use them."
“Some of the items we’re selling have been used more than others, but everything has been broken in by the band in one way or another.”
The collection features a 1963 Fender Jaguar, a 1965 Fender Mustang, a 1874 Mellotron M400 and a whole lot more.
