A Sydney man has been charged with the murder of Liam Anderson, the youngest son of Rose Tattoo frontman Angry Anderson.
As ABC reports, Matthew Flame was arrested on Sunday by police following the death of Anderson that same morning.
Described by many as “good friends”, Flame and Anderson allegedly got into a fight at Pavilion Park in Sydney, with emergency services arriving during the incident. Anderson passed away from head injuries while being airlifted to hospital.
Angry Anderson’s management has issued a statement asking that the media and general public respect the family's privacy.
"With the matter in the hands of NSW Police, the family will not be making any comment at this stage, nor are we as Anderson's management in a position to offer any comment on their behalf," spokesperson Scot Crawford said.
Liam Anderson was also a musician, performing around Sydney as a hip hop artist under the moniker Ranford Bigsby.
He was 26 years old at the time of his passing.
Flame is scheduled to appear in court later today.
