Former Deerhunter Member Josh Fauver Has Passed Away

Former bassist for Deerhunter, Josh Fauver, has passed away aged 39.

Deerhunter announced the news on social media over the weekend and according to Rolling Stone, a representative of the band has confirmed the death. No cause has been revealed.

“Very difficult times now,” the band posted on Instagram.

Fauver joined the band in 2005 after original bassist Justin Bosworth died in 2004 in a skateboarding accident. He played on four studio albums through to 2012.
