After hitting cinemas across Australia a week ago to critical acclaim, A Star Is Born has now also officially taken over the ARIA charts.
The soundtrack for the film, which stars Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga also collaborated on, has climbed to top spot after placing at #3 this week.
Meanwhile, the first single from the record, Shallow, has jumped up from #17 last week to take out #1 on the Singles chart, ending George Ezra's five-week run atop the list with Shotgun which has dropped to #2.
The Albums chart placing has blocked Sydney favourites RÜFÜS DU SOL from three-straight Australian #1 albums, with Solace debuting at #2, just ahead of Disturbed's Evolution at #3
Eminem's Kamikaze has stayed strong in the top five to chart at #4, edging out the Bohemian Rhapsody film soundtrack at #5 and triple j's Like A Version Volume 14 at #6.
Other album debuts this week include Troy Cassar-Daley's Greatest Hits (#7), Khalid's Suncity (#9), Greta Van Fleet's Anthem Of The Peaceful (#10) and Hellions' Rue (#23).
Over on the Singles chart, there has been little movement at the top end besides Shallow moving up to #1, with the only new entries being Billie Eilish's When The Party's Over (#10), Post Malone & Swae Lee's Sunflower (#13), Khalid's Suncity featuring Empress Of (#30) and Dua Lipa's Kiss & Make Up (#33).
