The final artists and speakers for the 2018 edition of Australian Music Week have confirmed, with the full program now boasting more than 100 national and international acts and 48 industry experts taking part in panels and masterclass workshops.

Set to go down in Cronulla, Sydney from November 7 – 9, the latest musical acts to join the ranks include alt-rockers RedHookhip hop MC Mirrah (L-Fresh The Lion), 2018 Vanda & Young Songwriting Competition finalist Florian and stacks more.

“If you are in the music industry scouting for new talent or a music fan looking for your new favourite act, Australian Music Week is without a doubt the place to be this November,” program director Geoff Trio said.

“The level of talent applying was so strong that we just kept expanding the program and brought on specialist genre advisors across the board to ensure we are showcasing the best. You do not want to miss this!”

Meanwhile, the conference side of things welcomes some serious industry talent, led by Bluesfest’s Peter NobleLeanne DeSouza (Association of Artist Managers) and Tim Price (Collision Course/The Faction).

“Australian Music Week is the best value conference around,” conference manager Jon Howell said.

“We bring in speakers and delegates who are doing incredible work in their field and most importantly, are approachable and accessible to artists throughout the event, which makes for real connections and tangible results.

“The program tackles the key opportunities and challenges facing artists and the industry day in, day out, including the big ones around diversity and mental health, with a focus on practical advice you can actually take away and use.”
