The team behind those iconic Mary's burgers in Newtown are stretching their culinary expertise further with their newest venture, Mary's Pizzeria at Sydney's Lansdowne Hotel.

The pizzeria is now open for the public to enjoy and boosts New York style dough that's fermented for 72 hours to maximise flavour, which is then topped with all kinds of delicious Italian and Australian ingredients. 

"Our love of Dominos and Pizza Hut has grown into an obsession over the years," said Mary's Kenny Graham. "The interplay of childhood nostalgia mixed with current day disappointments has made us want to create a pizza menu we actually want to eat."

"We wanted to explore the world of pizza that exist outside of Italy, so we modelled it on two distinct pizza styles," added Jake Smyth. "The classic New York style, and a fucked up Detroit square pizza."

You can try out the pizza between 4pm-2am Monday to Thursday, 12pm-2am Friday & Saturday, and 12pm-12am on Sunday.
