The Nine Network has announced its programming for 2019, confirming the return of singing competition The Voice, as well as the screening of a BBC-produced ABBA documentary, ABBA: Let The Music Speak.

As TV Tonight reports, the doco will explore the "incredible history of the band, why the famous four broke up and why they have decided to get back together to make music once again".

It comes just weeks after ABBA's Benny Andersson confirmed the iconic group's planned hologram world tour is scheduled to commence early next year.

Meanwhile, The Voice will return with its judges - Boy George, Kelly Rowland and Delta Goodrem - with a fourth international judge "to be announced soon". WA loop artist Sam Perry took out this year's competition after being dubbed the series' "most controversial artist".

Also announced at Nine's Upfronts is the brand new Hamish Blake-hosted Lego Masters.

The show will see Blake "pit eight pairs of brickheads against each other in a quest to impress with their creativity, design and flair, driven by their unparalleled passion for the possibilities that will start with a single LEGO brick".
