John Butler Trio have scored their fourth #1 ARIA album with Home storming the charts to top spot on its debut and knocking Eminem's Kamikaze down into fourth after four weeks atop the Albums chart.
Released 28 October, The Music gave Home four stars out of five saying, "It is a very humble, mature and refreshing album that any John Butler Trio fan will surely love." Read the full review here.
The group beat music icon Cher's 26th studio album and cover LP, Dancing Queen, which came in at #2, while The Living End also soared into the top three with the release of Wunderbar. Cold Chisel's 2011 compilation, The Best Of Cold Chisel: All For You, climbed into the top five following Jimmy Barnes' AFL grand final performance last weekend and the screening of his acclaimed documentary on TV screens this week.
Other album debuts this week included Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V at #6, Logic's YSIV at #8 and Rod Stewart's Blood Red Roses at #15.
Over on the Singles chart, George Ezra made it three straight weeks at #1 with Shotgun, with Dean Lewis' Be Alright dropping to third but making waves in the UK.
