Country superstar Keith Urban has today been announced as the host of this year's ARIA Awards.
The revered singer-songwriter will return home for the November event in what will be his first time at the ARIAs since 2007 when he performed with John Butler.
“I’m really looking forward to coming home and celebrating an incredible year of Australian music," Urban said.
"There’s been so many impressive releases this year, it’s gonna be a tough competition but we get to recognise and honour the best of the best at Aussie music’s night of nights.”
ARIA Chief Executive Dan Rosen said they are "honoured" to have Urban host the 2018 ceremony.
"To have one of Australia’s biggest stars host this year’s ceremony is just phenomenal," Rosen said.
"Australian music fans are in for a real treat."
Following the ARIAs, Urban will return to Australia in January next year for a huge headline tour in support of his April-released album, Graffiti U.
