Holy Holy are back on the airwaves, having just released a brand new single, and to celebrate, they have announced a national headline tour.
The duo will head off around the country this November, playing gigs in Newcastle, Terrigal, Sydney, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Fremantle, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. They will also appear at Yalls Summer Fest in Yallingup while over on the west coast.
BIGSOUND buzz acts CLEWS and San Mei will join the band on the road with San Mei playing all shows bar those in Western Australia and South Australia.
New single Faces is the first taste of the band's forthcoming third album and sees the band head in a surprising new direction. It features Ainslie Wills and Ali Barter on vocals and Japanese Wallpaper's trademark synths.
“It’s a snapshot of what it is to be alive at the moment, all these different lives interacting,” says frontman Tim Carrol.
“I was a social worker, I used to work in refugee settlement.
"It continually shocks me that these people, including children, are still in indefinite detention. When they started separating families at the US/Mexican border, and there was a public outcry, what we’re doing in this country is as bad as that.”
Check out theGuide for all the tour details; tickets go on sale Tuesday 25 September.
