If you happen to be in or around Melbourne Central tonight you may want to hang around, say, at 6pm?

Local favourites Alpine are set to perform an intimate and free set at the level two link bridge as a surprise Central Sessions act.

Created as a series of pop-up gigs to engage with Melbourne music lovers, Central Sessions will host three more gigs to round out the season.

“With millennials making up such a large portion of Melbourne Central’s visitorship, we wanted to find ways to deliver experiences that truly fuel their interests and enhance their time in centre," marketing manager, Melissa Polglase, said.

“Considering Melbourne’s strong affinity to music, Central Sessions was an obvious choice for us. It also supports and shines a light on local and emerging artists, which is something we are passionate about investing in across all verticals, including fashion, design and hospitality.”

Melbourne hip hop artist Hvncoq will next perform at Central Sessions on 5 October.
