To celebrate tomorrow's release of their new single, Starlight, Canberra electro-indie group SAFIA have announced they'll embark on a headline tour of Australia's east coast this year.

Starting in Brisbane this November, the trio's first Australian headline tour since 2016 will move on to Sydney and Melbourne, where they'll be supported by fellow Canberra act, Genesis Owusu.

"At its core, Starlight is a song about letting go, and the world that it creates is designed to capture that feeling," SAFIA said of the new track.

"In retrospect, the song also represents an important shift in perspective, both creatively and personally."

The tour comes after a celebrated return to Splendour In The Grass this past July, as well as a debut appearance at China's Concrete & Grass festival.
