Educating the gig-goers of tomorrow, HyperFest has dished up some of the country’s best acts for this December’s bill.

Shining a spotlight on local talent once again, the Midland-based all-ages festival has recruited East Coast headline acts DZ Deathrays and Polish Club.

Hitting Midland Oval on December 8, it’ll be the second time this year the event sets up in WA, promising the return of a sideshow alley market, silent disco, live art battles, gourmet food vans, water slide, photo booth, games, merchandise and a signing tent.

Here’s the first line-up announcement in full:

DZ Deathrays, Polish Club, Ruby Fields, Kira Puru, Polaris, Alpha Wolf, Justice For The Damned, Antonia & The Lazy Susans, Aburden, Eilish Gilligan, Househats, Approachable Members Of Your Local Community, Sam Perry, Good Doogs, Mosquito Coast, Your Girl Pho, Vacant Home, Homebrand, Hell Average, Mal De Mer, Sad Hour, Tether, Holographic Moon Society

“The Hyper festival is hugely successful every year, and I look forward to seeing another impressive turnout this December,” Midland/Guildford Ward Councillor Ian Johnson said.
