Jump on the group chat and get out your diaries because Grampians Music Festival has just revealed when the 2019 event is going to go down.

Taking place once again in the Victorian Grampians Mountain Ranges, the third annual event will happen on the 15 - 17 February.

The festival has been inspired by the Your Choice initiative and this year will put in place a safe space policy to "enforce shared responsibility and encourage mutual respect between musicians, staff and music lovers alike".

Following on the success of 2018's Youth Mentorship Program, the festival has also announced the program will be back in 2019, awarding six festival mentorships and promising "an invaluable hands-on experience of the day-to-day happenings of running a music festival".

Speaking of the program, Director Carly Flecknoe said that “the program is a unique opportunity to get involved in a really exciting event and gain practical festival experience".

"Successful applicants will work closely with the GMF committee in the months leading up to the festival, and also work over the festival weekend helping with all facets of the event’s management.”

Flecknoe has also shed some light on the line-up, which still remains a closely guarded secret, saying "we're so excited about what we're planning for our 2019 line-up and can't wait to share it with our audience".

Previous festival line-ups have featured Polish Club, Tired Lion, Alex Lahey and Didirri so we are sure good times are ahead.

Early bird tickets are on sale now until the line-up is revealed on 31 October.
