St Kilda Festival is likely to attract over 400,000 attendees in 2019 and they are on the hunt for 10 up and coming acts to play their New Music Stage.
In addition to the exposure of playing the 2019 festival, one of the acts will then be selected to play the Main Stage at the 2020 festival and be given $5,000 if they're the crowd favourite.
The New Music Stage has previously played host to acts like Client Liaison, Missy Higgins, Baker Boy, The Cactus Channel and Husky.
"The St Kilda Festival is a flagship event for the City of Port Phillip which aims to engage the community with access to a diverse range of entertainment," said City of Port Phillip Mayor Cr Bernadene Voss.
"We're calling on participants nationwide to take part in 2019, and encourage everyone to apply."
