Matt Groening Says Briggs' 'Disenchantment' Episode 'Will Change Everything'

The Simpsons creator Matt Groening says that an upcoming episode of his new show, Disenchantment, which Aussie hip hop artist Briggs wrote for, "will change everything".

Appearing on The Weekly With Charlie Pickering, the legendary cartoonist sat down with Briggs to promote the new series, which premiered on Netflix this month. 

After it was revealed last year that the rapper joined Groening's team as a writer for Disenchantment, it has now been confirmed that his episode will appear in season two, which is yet to have a release date. 

"This guy's really good by the way," Groening said of Briggs.

"Good jokes. And his show is coming up in the next season and it's a wild one. We can't even talk about it. We're not allowed to talk about it.

"But it will change everything."

Groening also confirmed that Briggs' episode is the most violent of the show so far. 

"You wrote it violent," he told Briggs.

"You've gotta take credit for your demented mind!"
