A stack of big-name acts have been confirmed to join John Farnham at this October's charity concert to support Australian farmers affected by the current drought.
Taking place at Tamworth Scully Park on 27 October, Hay Mate: A Concert For The Farmers will feature performances from Daryl Braithwaite, Guy Sebastian, The Veronicas, Jon Stevens, INXS' Andrew Farriss, Adam Harvey, Tim Wheatley, Aleyce Simmonds and Nat Conway.
All money raised from the concert, which will be broadcast on Channel 9 and 9Now, will go to Rural Aid which helps support rural communities and farmers across Australia.
Nine’s Head of Content, Production and Development, Adrian Swift, told The Daily Telegraph, "Nine is hugely committed to helping Australia’s farmers.
"And the job isn’t over yet. Hay Mate will be a major television event featuring some of Australia’s biggest musical acts with all profits going to Rural Aid."
Tickets are on sale now; for more details, including details on how to donate, check out the Hay Mate website.
