The music of late soul icon Aretha Franklin is set to surge back onto the ARIA charts following the singer's passing last week.
While Ariana Grande is expected to take out top spot on the Albums chart with Sweetener, eight Franklin albums are expected to re-enter the top 20: The Very Best Of Aretha Franklin Volume 1 — The '60s, 30 Greatest Hits, Together — The Very Best Of Aretha Franklin & Otis Redding, The Queen Of Soul: The Atlantic Recordings, Original Album Series, Best Of Aretha Franklin, A Brand New Me: Aretha Franklin (With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra) and Respect — The Very Best Of.
Meanwhile, two of Franklin's most iconic hits — Respect and I Say A Little Prayer — are predicted to climb back into the Singles chart's top 30 and 40 respectively.
Aussie legend Jimmy Barnes will push for a top three debut on the Albums chart with Working Class Boy — The Soundtracks, as will Human Nature with their new LP, Romance Of The Jukebox.
Other debuts this week include Travis Collins' Brave & The Broken (top 25) and Death Cab For Cutie's Thank You For Today (top 40).
Back over to the Singles chart, Sydney artist Dean Lewis will have a fight on his hands to retain the #1 spot with Be Alright, as Benny Blanco's Eastside, featuring Khalid and Halsey, is expected to move up into the top three.
Grande's track, Breathin, is likely debut in the top ten, while five more songs from the pop artist should appear in the top 40: Everytime, Sweetener, REM, God Is A Woman and No Tears Left To Cry.
