UK artist La Roux has slammed Fox Business Network for using her 2009 hit song, Bulletproof, in a segment promoting bulletproof clothing for kids.
As Pitchfork reports, the segment was aired on the Mornings With Maria programme with the headline, "Back To School Safety" and "promoted high-end bulletproof backpacks and clothing".

"Using Bulletproof, a song I wrote about relationships, for a piece like this is abhorrent," it reads.
"I have never, and would never approve my music to be used in this way."
According to NME, a Fox Business Network spokesperson has addressed the segment, saying, "The song was chosen by the production team and the selection has been addressed".
