To coincide with their appearances at Mullum Music Festival and Sydney Irish Festival this November, Irish act Saint Sister have locked in some debut Australian headline shows.

As well as performing at the festivals, the electro-folk duo will perform in Melbourne and Sydney, where they will showcase songs from their forthcoming debut album, Shape Of Silence, due out 5 October.

The LP was produced by long term co-producer and bassist for Hozier, Alex Ryan.

"We found a really good energy between the three of us, and over the course of time have started trusting each other’s instincts a lot more and getting comfortable pushing the boundaries," Saint Sister's Gemma Doherty said of the recording process.

Tickets for the headline shows go on sale from 10am this Friday (24 August); for more details, click on theGuide.
