Sydney artist Dean Lewis has become just the second Aussie act to top the ARIA Singles Chart this year.
Lewis' track, Be Alright, has climbed from last week's position at #2 to the top spot, knocking Drake's In My Feelings to second position.
5 Seconds Of Summer are so far the only other Aus act to claim the top spot on the chart this year, holding on for seven weeks with their track, Youngblood, before In My Feelings overtook it. This week Youngblood has landed at #3.
Aussie success continues down the chart, with Conrad Sewell's Healing Hands coming in at #9, Peking Duk's Fire/Reprisal at #19, The Ruben's Never Ever feat. Sarah at #25, Amy Shark's I Said Hi at #31, and Hayden James' Just Friends feat. Boy Matthews at #37.
Over the Albums Chart, Shark is the highest placed Aussie with her album, Love Monster, at #10. Sydney group Gang Of Youths have also re-entered at the chart at #26 with their album Go Farther In Lightness, which celebrates its one year anniversary today.
Drake's Scorpion, Travis Scott's Astroworld, the new Mamma Mia! soundtrack, Nicki Minaj's Queen and The Greatest Showman soundtrack make up the Top 5 listings.
