Western Sydney is being gifted a free block party this weekend which will feature a mix of live, acoustic and DJ sets from some big local names.

Taking place at Kevin Betts Stadium in Mount Druitt this Saturday (18 August), Druitt Days Live will bring together two new performative art projects by Indigenous artists Hannah Brontë and Dean Cross, as well as sets from the likes of Jesswar, Demise, Kealoana, MC Renz, Xavier Ali and more.

While Brontë’s project highlights the wealth of musical talent in Mount Druitt, Cross will screen the pilot episode of his new Australian soap opera, Where Is Home?.

Taking on from iconic Aussie series Home & AwayWhere Is Home? tells the story of recently-arrived refugees and their journey from Summer Bay to Mount Druitt.

Druitt Days Live kicks off from 5pm on Saturday; for more details, click here.
